Inspection Service
Annual medical gas inspections are designed to meet all CMS, TJC, NFPA and ASSE 6000 requirements. All information for inspected medical gas devices are recorded in iMGAS LAB & TESTING Annual Inspection report which is created by following NFPA 99 and ASSE 6000 Series guidelines.


Verification Service
All new installed medical gas and vacuum system or a breach in the existing medical gas pipeline must be inspected to ensure safe and proper operation. iMGAS LAB & TESTING performs medical gas verification studies per NFPA 99C “GAS and Vacuum Systems” guidelines and provides a complete verification report including documentations of inspected medical gas devices and a certificate of compliance with the NFPA 99C.
Repair Service
The repair quotation is provided with the annual medical gas inspection report. Hospital staff/engineer can determine in-house repairs or vendor support repairs. iMGAS LAB & TESTING technicians are trained for all medical gas related repairs. The repaired items will be updated on the annual inspection report.


Waste Anesthetic Gas Study
Waste Anesthetic Gas Study includes a 15-minute Time Weight Average (TWA) analysis and detection of leak sources with anesthesia machine in patient simulation mode. The results will compare with federal and state requirements. Air Exchange Rate Study will be conducted following WAGS to calculate the room air exchange rates and determine room positive/negative pressure. All the findings, results, recommendations, and suggestions will be included in a final Waste Anesthetic Gas Study report.
Laboratory & Testing
Medical gas testing is essential to ensure the safety of patients. iMGAS Lab & Testing provides medical gas testing services to meet NFPA 99 Health Care Facilities specifications for piping purity, piping particulate, medical gas concentration, and medical air purity testing as well as USP Oxygen, Medical Air, and NF grade Nitrogen testing. HTMN02 and SHTM2022 require that all medical gases are tested on a quarterly basis, and dental gases are tested annually.


Consultant Service
iMGAS Lab & Testing provides medical gas consultant services in the early stage of medical gas constructions. CAD plan specification review service is available to eliminate outdated specifications and ensures compliance with current NFPA requirements. iMGAS Lab & Testing verifier inspects installer work and brazing techniques and identify false items prior to wall closing to reduce corrective action costs.
